Emboss Resist

A variation on a theme:

I made this card for a Limited Supply Challenge. The idea was to limit yourself to using just white cardstock. I normally avoid "all white" cards like the plague, so I'm really enjoying stretching my thinking process with this stamper's challenge. This card came to my mind, so I experimented a little and here it is! As you can see, I'm still thinking about the Emboss Resist technique I was describing in my Double Resist post.

To create this card, I stamped my three flower images in clear VersaMark ink and then embossed them in Clear Embossing Powder (I don't know what I'd do with out my gigantic container of this stuff!). Then I carefully sponged green, pink, yellow and blue ink onto the cardstock. It filled in the white spaces in between the embossed images. I added a greeting and I was done. I'm finding the minimalistic cards I've created for this challenge are very quick to make.

Anyway, the Emboss Resist technique is so much fun--and very addicting, as you can see.
